The state of Colorado does not require home inspectors to be licensed. Can you believe that? While some folks may take advantage of this lack of regulation, I take it upon myself to be nationally licensed as a home inspector. The people of Northern Colorado deserve a high quality inspection.
The national license is through American Society of Home Inspectors. Since 1976, this non-profit organization has helped many home buyers receive quality information about their investment. And since 1999 when I began Winding River, I have held myself to those same high standards in order to give you the information you need to know to protect yourself and your investment.
Through conferences and other professional development events, I am able to keep up with the latest methods to improve my inspection services. I am held to the standard 20 hours of continuing education each year. In addition, ASHI requires that I thoroughly inspect all installed systems as well as the structure. Then, I’ll immediately give you a paper or electronic report detailing everything I’ve found in your inspection.
Essentially, I strive to be the best consultant for you and your home. Whether the news is good or bad, it is my duty to tell you. That’s why I take it upon myself to be certified and continually educated through ASHI. An inspection by Winding River means you will receive an honest, thorough inspection to alert you to potential threats as well as identify parts of your home that are performing well and what you can do to ensure continuing the success.
So while Colorado does not require me to be licensed, you will benefit from my certification through ASHI. Being a licensed home inspector gives me the opportunity to serve you to the expectations you deserve.
