You Just Bought a House, Now You Have to Pack, Call the Cable Company and Call Us for an Inspection of Your Home

Congratulations on the purchase of your newly-built home. It is indeed a privilege to have the opportunity to live in a home nobody has lived in before. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done; you still have to pack, call the cable company and call us for an inspection of your new home. You seem somewhat stumped by the last item on that list, you see absolutely no reason in having to inspect a home that was just built. We are going to let you in on a little secret; it is imperative you have your new home inspected before you move in, and here is why.

The Advantage of Private Home Inspection

The building of your home was a complex, if not complicated, orchestration that involved many people. With the number of contractors, subcontractors and employees working on various systems simultaneously, there is the chance something was forgotten or missed during the process. For example, there could be a duct in your heating system that was somehow overlooked and remains unattached.
You might feel the municipal building inspection was enough, this is quite simply untrue. The reason for municipal building inspections is to check for compliance as it is related to building codes. And while these inspectors do a fantastic job, they are not looking for unattached ductwork.

Be Prepared

Yet another reason to hire an inspector is by discovering problems before you move in, you can have them fixed before you move in. That is, it is far better to have the dust and noise from a repair happen when it is not an inconvenience to you and your family.
Lastly, we would like to wish you well, and we hope you enjoy your new home.
